Robert Lanny Ward, 69, of 110 Lee Street, Lawndale, passed away Tuesday,
November 11, 2014 at Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville.
He was born in Cleveland County October 19, 1945 and was a member of
Lawndale Baptist Church. He also served in the US Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his mother Nellie Corene Morrison Ward.
He is survived by his father, Robert Dean Ward of Lawndale, aunt, Jesslyn
Chandler, and two good friends John Treat of Kansas and Ronnie Blanton of
Lawndale.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Fallston. Condolences

The funeral will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM in the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home & Cremation Center Chapel with the Rec. Glenn Ward officiating. The
burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
