Ronald Anthony Hardin, age 72, of Forest City, NC, died Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born April 6, 1942 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Dewey Hardin and Annie Haulk Hardin. Ronald was a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Forest City and enjoyed golfing and spending time in his workshop.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Brantley.
Survivors include four sisters, Dorothy DeBrule and husband, Dever, Helen Davis, Peggy Hardin and Susan Hardin all of Forest City; four brothers, Rev. Howard Hardin of Rutherfordton, Hubert Hardin and wife, Jean of Forest City, Arnold “Mickey” Hardin and wife, Linda of Caroleen and Tim Hardin of Forest City. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the First Wesleyan Church with Reverend Eric Yelton officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
