Ruth Elizabeth McCurry Jones, age 84, of Lattimore went home to be with her Savior Friday, February 20, 2015 at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation and Living Center.
Born in Rutherford County, NC on April 8, 1930, Ruth was the daughter of the late Grady and Blanche McCurry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Zachariah Dobbins Jones; and brother Walter McCurry.
She was a member of Lattimore Baptist Church.
Ruth is survived by children, Sandy Roberson and husband Royce, David Jones and wife Cynthia, Robin Evans and husband Thomas; brother, Earl McCurry and wife Joanne; grandchildren, Amy Camby, Scott Jones, Karla Terry, Jennifer Moore, Leslie Ramey, John Lankford, Wendy Green; and 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Terry Honeycutt . The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
