Shelby Amateur Radio Club makes donation to Tri-County Animal Rescue

Shelby Amateur Radio Club, Inc. is an amateur radio club interested in promoting amateur radio in and around our community. They sponsor the annual Shelby Hamfest at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds each year on Labor Day weekend. The club has been hosting this hamfest for 59 years. Some of the proceeds from the Hamfest are donated to local and deserving charities. During their last monthly club meeting, it was decided by the members to make a donation to Tri-County Animal Rescue. According to Mr. Rowe, "the club appreciates the services provided by Tri-County Animal Rescue to our community and hope the donation can help with homeless pets". Tri-County Animal Rescue is very thankful for the monetary donation and will use it to help with spay/neuter surgeries. Pictured above are Pat and Cy Rowe.
