Shirley Roberts Carraway, 80 years young, of Kings Mountain, NC passed away Monday, April 4, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was born in Homersville, OH on February 13, 1931 to the late Elmer Carl Barsig and Helene Martha Kleinfeld Barsig. She moved to Fort Myers, FL in 1948. She was wife of 45 years to the late Maxwell Carraway. She and her late husband were self-employed and owners of Mac’s Market in Tice, and the “Shirley D” shrimp boat. Shirley lived in Fort Myers until March of 2007 when she moved to North Carolina to live with her daughter. She was also preceded in death by grandsons, Lee Roberts and Ryan Carraway.

7 Grandchildren: Brenda Meeks and Jimmy Daughterty both of Kings Mtn.
Jason Daugherty, Lance Roberts, Ashlee Freeland, Tiffany Howerton and Matthew Howerton, all of Fort Myers, FL
9 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Thursday, April 7, 2011, 7:00 P.M. Harvey Cody, officiating.
