Students raise money, awareness for hunger relief in Cleveland County
Boiling Springs Elementary students reached out to their neighborhood to raise money. The school raised $564 for Farmer Foodshare.

Cleveland County elementary school students participated in a quarter drive organized by Foothills Farmers' Market and their Power of Produce (POP) Club. Students raised over $1,900. All proceeds were donated to Farmer FoodShare and will be used to alleviate hunger right here in Cleveland County.
Each time kids visit the Thursday evening market in Kings Mountain or Saturday morning market in Uptown Shelby, they will receive a $2 token redeemable for locally grown produce and have the opportunity to participate in awesome activities. POP Club was made possible by the HealthCare Foundation of Cleveland County.
