Mrs. Syble Wall Parker, 74, went to be with The Lord Saturday, October 15, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Stanley Arthur Parker, Sr. of the home, four children, Kenneth Wayne Wall (Melanie) of Crouse, NC, Stanley Arthur Parker, Jr. (Chrissy) of Shelby, NC, Timothy James Parker (Amanda) of Shelby, NC, and Katie Ann Branch (Jason) of Kings Mountain, NC, eighteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Born June 30, 1942 in Rutherford County, Mrs. Parker was the daughter of the late George W. Wall and Katie Mae Ledbetter Wall and was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Wall, Frank Wall, and Leroy Wall and a sister, Mary Blanton.
Mrs. Parker loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandbabies. She enjoyed her church in Kings Mountain, fishing, and dancing. She will be missed by those that knew her.
The family would like to express a sincere thanks to the staff at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 pm Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Calvary Tabernacle Church, 541 Crocker Road, Kings Mountain, NC. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby.
