 Mrs. Sylvia Raye Lutz Boyles, 69, of 5526 Fallston Road passed
away Thursday, August 22, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in June 3, 1944 to the late Wilbur Ray and Lula Vay Elmore
Lutz.  Sylvia attended Belwood High School and received a BS Degree from
Gardner Webb University.  She earned several certifications in her field of
manufacturing.  Sylvia was published in Production Trade Journal.  She
retired from Copeland Division of Emerson Electric as plant manager of the
Shelby plant.

She attended Kadish United Methodist Church and served in several areas
including assistant organist, assistant Sunday school teacher and on the
Pastor Relations Committtee.  Sylvia loved her church and enjoyed being with
her family, reading, piano, golf, travel and especially those family
vacations.

Sylvia married her high school sweetheart and is survived by her husband of
fifty-three years, Steve; sons, Chris Boyles of Belwood and Wade Boyles of
Marion; sister, Jo Ellen Strange and husband, Larry of Columbus, Georgia;
sister-in-law, Ann Boyles Mahin of Oregon; nieces, Amanda Strange Turner,
Cindy Strange, Kristin Quail Mahin and nephew, Jason Mahin.

Visitation:  The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Sunday at
Kadesh United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Belwood.

Funeral:  The family wishes you to join them in a Celebration of Life
Service, 2:30 PM Sunday at Kadesh United Methodist Church.

Burial: Kadesh United Methodist Church Cemetery
