Tara Lynn Absher, 46 of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her mother, Peggy Sue Brown Absher of Shelby, NC, a fiancé, William Thomas of Shelby, NC, a sister, Susan Jenkins of Shelby, NC, a half-brother, Luke Absher and wife Amy of Concord, NC, a special niece, Kayla Jenkins of Shelby, NC, a niece, Kaylen Teague, and two nephews, Brayden and Travis Absher.
Born January 28, 1970 in Cabarrus County, Tara was preceded in death by her father, Travis Lee Absher, Sr. and a brother, Travis Lee Absher, Jr.
Tara enjoyed cooking, taking care of children, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a giving and caring woman. She would always be available for anyone to approach her and talk to her about any problems that they may have. She will be missed by those that knew her.
A graveside service will be held 11:30 am Monday, July 18, 2016 at Cleveland Memorial Park.
