Mr. Thomas Richard Porter, Sr. age 60 of Pea Ridge Road, Bostic, NC, passed away on March 12, 2017 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

A native of Cleveland County he was a son of the late James and Ora Biggerstaff Porter and a former forklift operator in textiles. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Clark Porter and a son Thomas Richard "Ricky" Porter.

Left to cherish his memory is one son Charles "Chucky" Porter of Bostic, NC; one grandchild, four sisters, one brother and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.

In honor of Mr. Porter's wishes no services will be held.
