Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Edmondson
Tuesday, April 8, 2014 4:47 pm Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Edmondson, 75, died Mon., April 7, 2014, at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Walter Thomas and Annie Bell Richards Edmondson. In his younger days, he raced cars and enjoyed participating in fishing tournaments. He owned and operated Edmondson’s Garage for 33 years. PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Wright; and brothers, Dennis and Ronnie Edmondson SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Maxine Holland Edmondson, of the home; son, Bradley Thomas Edmondson of Boiling Springs; three daughters, Paula Edmondson Strange and husband Ross of Burlington, Anna McGill and husband Denny of Cherryville, and Holly Bowman and husband Dickie of Shelby; two sisters, Linda Hartman and husband Bobby of Shelby, and Christa Jewell and husband Christopher of Belleair Bluffs, Fla; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Suzanne, Bristan, Hannah, Zoe, Colton, Kale, and Billy. SERVICES: Funeral services will be Thursday, 2PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Thursday, 12:30-2PM, at the funeral home BURIAL: Will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park CLERGY: Rev.
