Thomas Wray Justice Willis



Thomas Wray Justice Willis, 93,  of Well Road in Fallston  passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville. 

Born in Cleveland County on November 26, 1920,  she was a daughter of the late Bessie Ray Burdell Justice and Thomas Weldon Justice.  Thomas was an active member of Friendship United Methodist Church until her health
declined.  She was a Sunday school teacher in the children's department for twenty-three years, former choir member, member of the United Methodist Women and also a member of the Fallston Lions Club.  Thomas retired from Stamey Stores Incorporated where she worked in sales.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Warren Willis; brother, Joe Justice; and sisters, Adele Justice, Vada Garver, Minnie Garver and Dessie Richards.

Thomas is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and William Helms of Harrisburg and Betty and Glenn Moore of Fallston; grandchildren, Kimberly Helms, Bill Helms, Jr. (Erica), Julie McMurry Kurtzman (Adam) and Kelly
McMurry (Mary Jane); great grandchildren,  Dylan McMurry, Logan McMurry, Zackary Helms and Jacob Helms; sister, Bruna Richards of Lawndale.   

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 Tuesday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.  A guest register is available at

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Bevill, Rev. Renee Lewis and Rev. Frank Garver officiating.

The burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fallston.
