Three Great Days of Community Fun in Belwood
Belwood Mayor Debbie Hoyle was very pleased with the three day 24th Annual Belwood Antique Tractor and Engine Festival, held this past weekend, September 4, 5 and 6. The event included many events and activities, including: their famous Antique Tractor Pull, held on Thursday and Saturday; a Lawnmower Pull on Friday; a Kids Tractor Pull on Saturday, as well as a Festival Parade with over 100 entries.  Antiques were available for sale and and delicious food was served to those in attendance.  The event seems to improve every year and represents what a small town can do when they come together.   Lots of old-timey fun was had by everyone. Pictured right: Free rides were provided by Chad Blevins and Barbara Latimore. Their Belgian Draft Horses named Molly and Lady gave petting and riding time to everyone. This is another example of the Belwood community spirit!  All proceeds went to Belwood Antique Heritage Museum.
