SHELBY- W. Dale Hollifield, age 65, passed away at his residence, May 23, 2017. A native of Cleveland Co., he was born to the late Wilbur Watkins Hollifield.

PRECEDED: In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kay Ruppe

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Marsha Davis Hollifield, of the home; Mother, Faye Dalton Hollifield; son Jay Hollifield and wife Colleen of Shelby; daughter Shannon Hollifield and fiancé Seth Treadway of Shelby; grandchildren Lucas, Kaidyn, Bryson, Weston and Vance; sister, Judy Rabb of Shelby; and Sister-In-Law, Patti Davis of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, Friday, May 26, 2017 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.

FUNERAL SERVICE: A private family service will be held.
