Gaffney -- Walter Raymond Sprouse, 45, of 862 Burnt Gin Road, passed away Friday, February 10th, 2017, at his residence.

Born in Union, he was the husband of Jennifer Millen Sprouse and the son of the Dorothy Quinn Sprouse of Gaffney and the late Johnny Sprouse. Mr. Sprouse retired as a Truck Driver and was a member of Encounter Church.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Sprouse is survived by one son, Phillip Sprouse, of Gaffney; one daughter, Britney Sprouse, of Gaffney; one brother, Roger Sprouse of Gaffney; one sister, Sherry Ledford, of Bakersville, NC; and one grandson, Drayson Sprouse.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Sprouse.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 14th, 2017, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Joey Osment, Derek Lee, Tony Millen, Austin Pennington, Dennis Allison, James Millen, Roger L. Sprouse, and Cody Allison Will serve as pallbearers.
