Mrs. Wanda Funderburk Hooper, 65, of 2423 Shoal Creek Church Rd. departed this life on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby, NC.  She was born March 10, 1947 in Charlotte, NC to Ruby Selina Maxwell Funderburk of Charlotte and the late Henry Mack Funderburk, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elston Derrek Hooper (Lisa) and Efrem Damon Hooper both of Charlotte, Elliott Danté Hooper of Gastonia, NC and Enzo Dewitt Hooper (Gayle) of Shelby; twenty-one grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Ruby S. Funderburk of Charlotte; one sister, Ms. Terry F. Blackwell of Charlotte; three brothers, Henry M. Funderburk III, (Emily), Glenn J. Funderburk (Laura) both of Charlotte and Vaudrey K. Funderburk (Tamiko) of Huntersville, NC; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy V. Funderburke and Sheila Q. Funderburk both of Charlotte;  a special friend, Marie Adams of Charlotte and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Ryburn Memorial Presbyterian Church 1329 Frederick St., Shelby with Rev.
