NEWTON -- Wanda Yost Lail, 75, of Shelby, willingly left this world,
releasing the hand of an Angel, Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at Catawba Regional
Hospice.
Mrs. Lail was born Dec. 23, 1940, in Virginia. Embraced by Jesus, she was
revered by her children for her sacrifices, toil and infinite love. She was a beloved
daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving Mrs. Lail are her children, Glenn, Calvin, Alan and Kathy.
A private ceremony will be held in Hawaii and her ashes spread off the coast of Waikiki as she wished.
