William "Buddy" Allen Hendrick, Jr., 68 of 4036 Pleasant Grove Church Road,
Shelby passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Peak Resources in Shelby.

Born April 19, 1949 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late William
Allen Hendrick and Betty Frances Strickland Hendrick. He worked from Nehi
Bottling company for 20 years, Webb Chemical and LanceVending. Buddy was a
member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Lindsey Hendrick of Lawndale; Nicole Short
of Fallston; brother, Wayne Hendrick and wife, Robin of Shelby; three
grandchildren, Taylor Short, Hunter Short and Laylah Hendrick.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove
Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church
with Pastor Chris Devine officiating.

Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
