Zelma Hardin Jackson


Zelma Hardin Jackson, age 91, a resident White Oak Manor, Charlotte, NC formerly of Grover, NC, died July 2, 2014 at White Oak Manor.    She was born in Cleveland Co, NC to the late Hosea Hardin and Kate Arrowood Hardin.    She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Charles “Duck” Jackson, brother; James Raymond Hardin and sisters; Della Carroll, Lena Goforth, and Ethel Lovelace.   Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker.  She loved to play Bingo, cook, bake, and fish.  She made the best biscuits in the world.   She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved all of her family dearly.   Special thanks to the staff of White Oak Manor and special caregiver, Stephanie Reid for their great care.

2 Grandchildren: Kathy Harris and Alan Webster

2 Great Grandchildren: Michael Webster and Katelyn Harris.

   2:00 P.M.   John Tim Morgan, officiating.

VISITATION: 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. Saturday, July 5, 2014 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Grover Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina
