Donald “Don” Carl Setzer, age 74, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with Jesus on December 16, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospice House.   He was born in Rowan Co, NC to the late Carl Pinkney Setzer and Doris Fields Lanier.  He was a retired Auto Parts Salesman and from Ultra Fabrication, Kings Mtn.   He attended True Gospel Holiness Church, Kings Mtn., loved woodworking and was a great and loving husband, Dad and Paw Paw. 

SURVIVORS: Wife of 51 years: Linda Pennington Setzer, Kings Mtn. NC

Sons: David Setzer and wife Tammy, Blacksburg, SC

Tim Setzer and wife Jodie, Gastonia, NC

Daughter: Donna Setzer Furr and Ray Alexander, Winston-Salem, NC

Brother: Bob Setzer, Florida

Sister: Ann Jones and husband Jim, Gastonia, NC

7 Grandchildren: Crystal, Michelle, Ashley, Dale, Jr., Bradley, Timothy and Seth.

2 Great Grandchildren: Lindsay and Brooke.

VISITATION: 6:00 – 8:30 P.M. Sunday evening, December 18, 2011 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC other times at the home. 

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
