Linda Jean Costner Shytle, 63, of 123 Shytle Drive, Polkville, died
Thursday, December 8, 2011 at home.

Born August 21, 1948 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of Kenneth
Wilbur Costner and Lois Rebecca Martin Costner.  Linda was a loving mother
and grandmother.  She was a member of Polkville Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Frances
Closner.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Jack B. Shytle; son, Charles
Shytle of Polkville; daughter, Gina Spangler and husband, David of Fallston;
five grandchildren, Emily Spangler, Thomas Spangler, Joe Shytle and wife,
Sheena, Hannah Holland and husband, Garrett and Paul Shytle; one
great-granddaughter, Maggie Shytle; brother, Joe Costner of York; and three
sisters, Nancy Earnhardt of Forest, VA, Pat Norman of Lawndale and Carolyn
Lewkowicz of Charlotte.

Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday,  Polkville Baptist Church, Polkville.
