More Info: Pet 'n Sip,1-4 pm, meet adoptable CARE dogs. Blessing of the Animals, 4 pm with Reverend Anita Ware. Tree Lighting, immediately following the blessing.
Bring your pets and your love, this is a celebration of every soul we've rescued, every life we've lost, and every heart still waiting for a home. Honor an animal with a light on our tree. Red, for those who've found their forever homes. White, for those who've passed away. Blue, for those still waiting. Lights are $10 per animal. Customers will park on Main Street, we're closing Mulberry Rd. and transforming it into a magical Christmas marketplace with 35 vendor booths, food, crafts, gifts, antiques, handmade items, and so much more. On Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 3:30 pm sharp, the Crouse Fire Department proudly presents the annual Crouse Christmas Parade If you're looking for real, small-town, porch-waving, everybody-knows-your-name Christmas joy, there's no place better than downtown Crouse on parade day. So, grab your ugliest Christmas sweater, your craziest lights, and your jolliest attitude, and come help us make this the hap, hap, happiest Christmas parade Crouse has ever seen!

Astronomy Club Meeting: The Cleveland County Astronomical Society will meet at 6:00 pm on December 18th at Gardner-Webb University in the William's Observatory.

Disable American Veterans, Hosting a Veterans, Chat & Chew Session: 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, 1138 E. Marion St., Shelby, NC. The second Saturday of each month. Nar-Anon Support Group: Meets 6:30 pm weekly on Tuesdays at the First Baptist Church, 120 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC. Nar-Anon is a support group for those affected by someone else's drug addiction. We meet in the classroom off Dale St. between Sumter & Campbell St. Park on the side of the church or in the alley.
