Bessemer City - Ms. Alice Crawley Sigmon, 62, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at her residence.

Alice was born on December 14, 1963 in Lincoln County, NC a daughter of Matilda Hamilton Black of Cherryville and the late Russell Crawley. She was employed by CaroMont Regional Medical Center. Alice loved spending time with her grandchildren and her longtime companion Tim. She also loved collecting and looking for rocks, enjoyed trips to the mountains and beach. Alice liked to do crafting and crocheting. She especially loved her little dog Cricket.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Gail Crawley and a brother, George Crawley.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her daughter, Jessica Goins and husband Bradley of Dallas; two grandchildren, Mason and Harper Goins; longtime companion, Tim Crunkleton; three sisters, Kay Davis of Vale; Mary Beth Silver and Regina Fredell both of Cherryville. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Elwood Seamster officiating.

Burial will be private.
