Alice Elaine Mull Shoup, 75, of Lawndale, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County, on January 15, 1947 she was a daughter of the late Pete Mull and Essie Costner Mull. She was retired from Fasco. She was also a partner with her sister in J&E Concessions. Elaine also helped look after her neighbors children for many years. She was also the boss lady for Rocky Top Farms. Elaine was also a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Dean Shoup; three brothers, Earl Mull, Robert Mull and Wayne Mull and a sister, Dorothy McCurry.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Leta Shoup and Aron and Kiley Shoup, all of Lawndale; a daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Homer Tessneer of Lawndale; a brother, Walter Mull of Waco; four sisters, Betty Mellon of Casar, Pat Carpenter of Waco, Marlene Parker, and Jeanette Canipe both of Casar; eight grandchildren, April Wellmon, Jillian Shoup, Dustin Tessneer and wife Lauren, Janna Shoup and boyfriend Chris Benfield, Avery Shoup and fiancée Candie Waters and Erica Shoup and five great-grandchild, Lara Wellmon, Leslie Wellmon, Lucas Wellmon, Huntleigh Tessneer and Miles Tessneer.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 4:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Homer Tessneer and Rev. Clyde Price officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
