Allison Turner Durbin, born on October 23, 1979, in Cleveland County, NC, decided to make her grand exit from this world on July 23, 2026, at the age of 46. She departed surrounded by her loving family, who were likely already missing her infectious laughter and the way she could light up any room with her smile. Allison was a stay-at-home mom, but don't let that fool you--her life was anything but ordinary. With a fishing rod in one hand and a cup of Dunkin or Starbucks coffee in the other, she navigated life with a wit as sharp as a tack and a heart as big as the great outdoors she loved so much. Allison's favorite word was Pus also known as Pussy, she had a mouth like a sailor and would tell it like it is. Whether riding four-wheelers or soaking in the beauty of a sunset over the beach or mountains, she embraced every moment. Family was at the core of Allison's universe, and she made sure to fill the holidays with the kind of warmth only a person with her generous spirit could ignite. Her strength and resilience were matched only by her penchant for joking around, making her the heart and soul of any gathering. Preceded in death by her parents, Gary Stephen Turner and Gwendolyn Lovelace Turner, her grandparents James and Charline Lovelace, and her cousins Phillip and Garrett McLamb, she leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. Her beloved spouse, Kenneth Durbin, along with her daughter Madison Anthony and husband Isaac, sons Zeric and Cody Durbin, and stepchildren Crystal and Christopher Durbin, will continue to cherish her memory. Her sister Karin Turner Cook and husband Clinton, brother Mark Stephen Turner and wife Miranda, numerous grandchildren, and her nephews August, Turner, Ford, and Dylan, and niece Carleigh, will all miss her deeply. Her loving Aunt Sue Lovelace McLamb Rippy and cousin Michael McLamb. The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Allison's life at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, with a visitation prior to the service from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Allison will be remembered for his infectious smile, her generous heart, and the love she shared for her family and friends.
