Mrs. Anita Hallman Hiott, 68, of 3008 Fish Pond Rd. passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

Anita was born on May 16, 1943 in Cleveland County, NC a daughter of the late Charlie Brooks Hallman and Madge Spake Hallman and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Larry Dean Hiott of the home and a son Larry Michael Hiott of Cherryville.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 11:00 until 11:45am at Stamey~Cherryville Funeral Home and other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 12 Noon at Stamey~Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Lail and Chaplain Jason Devine officiating.

Burial will be at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery.
