Anna Theresa Borders Hogue, a loving and generous person, departed this earthly life on the morning of August 5, 2025, at the age of 81.

She was born on July 13, 1944, to the late Thamon Caleb Borders and Annie Ruth Borders.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sherman Hogue; sisters, Constance Borders Shell and Katrinka Laverne Borders.
Anna is survived by a daughter, Sherma LaTrece Graham; grandson, LaVell Williams; siblings, Ada Blondeen Reaves, Thamon Vitalis Borders (Betty), Larry Caleb Borders (Virginia), Cheryel Borders, Mitzi Tamara Glenn (George), Robert Michael Borders (Susan), Bryant Lyndon Borders (Kimberly), and Scottie Travis Borders; several nieces and nephews, including Sharon Ward (Regi), LaQuetti Barnett (Rodney), Melanie Parker (Carlos), Tamara Glenn, Miranda Byrd (Allen), Allison Lewis (Kendrick), Kylia Jackson, and Lyndon Borders (Shawn). Anna leaves behind great-nieces and nephews, Chasity and Chase Mack, Milan and Selia Barnett, Carson, Caiden, Camaya, and Camryn Parker, Ayanna, Allen Jr., and Kyrie Byrd, and Ava Borders. She is also survived by her great-great-niece, Creedence Mack, and great-great-nephew, Caistance Mack; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Washington Missionary Baptist Church.
