Anther Charline Pruitt Sailors, 88, of 133 Dirty Ankle Road, Lawndale,
passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Trinity Ridge Nursing Home in
Hickory.

She was born in Cleveland County on May 28, 1928, to the late Carl Lee
Pruitt and Fancie Buff Pruitt. She was retired from Carolina Care in
Cherryville as a CNA and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

In addition, her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 54
years, Clarence Thomas Sailors and seven siblings.

She is survived by three sons, Gerald Sailors (Nancy) and Randy Sailors
(Debbie) all of Vale and Terry Sailors (Kathy) of Marshville; six
grandchildren, Melissa Wise (Jeremy), Dena Joyner (Brian), Jennifer Lail
(Marty), Chuck Sailors (Kristin), Jed Sailors (Amanda), Megan Sailors and
fourteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday at Stamey - Tysinger
Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday at Zion Hill Baptist Church
with Rev. Allan Barlow officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Newton, NC 28658 or to Gerald Sailors, 197 Hwy 18, Lawndale NC, 28090 to
help defray funeral expenses.
