Mr. Arnold William “Bill” Pearson, 69, of Shelby, NC went to be with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. A Memorial Service was held at Crestview Baptist Church, Shelby, NC.
Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Memory and Mary Nell Ledbetter Pearson; 3 brothers; 1 sister; and 1 grandson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Virginia “Sue” Deskin Pearson; 3 sons, David Pearson and wife LaSandra of Boiling Springs, Dennis Pearson and wife Mary, and Clay Pearson, all of Honolulu, HI; 2 daughters, Darlene Pearson and husband William of Kings Mountain, NC and Amy Wilson and husband Anthony of Shelby; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Tina Fowler and husband Charles of Ellenboro, and Margaret Griffin of Rutherfordton, NC; 1 sister-in-law, Rachel Pearson of Shelby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
