By: Eugene F. Allen 1-1/2 cups sugar 1/4 cup cornstarch 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 cups water 1 (3 oz.) Strawberry Gelatin 3 cups Strawberries 1 pie shell, Baked 1 container Whipped Topping Bring to boil; sugar, cornstarch, salt and water. Add strawberry gelatin, stir well. Let Cool. Add strawberries to baked pie shell. Pour syrup over strawberries. Cover with whipped topping. (for a Peach Pie, use sliced peaches and peach gelatin.) strawberry pudding By: Eugene F. Allen 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced 1 (3 oz.) box strawberry gelatin 2 boxes Instant Vanilla Pudding 2 cups milk 1 small carton sour cream 1 box Vanilla Wafers 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip (any other brand can be used) Mix strawberries and gelatin (don’t add water) in saucepan. Heat until gelatin dissolves; then set it aside. Mix pudding and milk until it becomes thick, then stir in sour cream and Cool Whip, mix well. Alternate layers in this order: wafers, strawberry mixture and pudding. Chill 3 to 4 hours before serving. strawberry salad By: Eugene F. Allen 1 small can crushed pineapple 1 (3 oz.) boxes strawberry gelatin 1 pound strawberries, sliced 3 bananas, mashed Drain juice from pineapple, add enough water to juice to equal 2 cups liquid. Bring to boil, dissolve gelatin in liquid. Add 1 cup cold water. Cool until thickened. Add strawberries, bananas and pineapple. Pour into 9x13 inch pan. chill until set. Yield: 15 servings easy strawberry dessert 1-1/2 cups boiling water 1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jell-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin 1 tub (6 oz.) Cool Whip Dips Strawberry Creme (do not thaw), divided 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries Add boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add 2/3 of the frozen Cool Whip Dips; whisk until Cool Whip is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Refrigerate remaining Cool Whip for later use. Spoon berries into 5 dessert cups; cover with gelatin mixture. Refrigerate 2 hours or until set. Top with remaining Cool Whip just before serving.
