Barbara Jean Fitzgerald, 81, of Shelby passed away at her home on Friday, January 20, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Connor. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Hoffman and grandson Michael Arrison. She leaves behind her husband Joseph Fitzgerald and two children, Karen L Gozalez (Ruben) and Gwen M. Galli (Glen) as well as two grandsons Ruben Gonzalez Jr. and Julian Gonzalez.

In her free time, Barbara enjoying painting, knitting and listening to music. She particularly had a taste for Elvis Presley and country music. Barbara recalls one of her favorite life memories was getting married to her husband, Joe. She also loved her cat, Prancer.

The Fitzgerald family will hold services privately for Barbara at a later date.
