Belinda Gail Black-Powers, 56, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on February 10, 2026 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. She was born June 28, 1969 in Cleveland County, NC. She was the daughter of Lawrence Junior Black and Betty Toney Black. Gail was preceded in death by her father, her only daughter, Heather Powers, a half-sister, Debra Black and her brother, Robert Black. She worked in retail most of her life, spending many years with Roses Discount Store both in Kings Mountain and Forest City, NC. Gail was a former attendee of Midview Baptist Church. She loved nothing more than spending time with her beloved granddaughters. She always placed them and her family at the center of her life. Gail will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved her. Her memories have found an eternal home in the hearts of all those who loved her.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Midview Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Rice officiating

VISITATION: Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM prior to the service at Midview Baptist Church

INTERMENT: Midview Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
