Ben Miller Allison, of 233 Oak Grove Road, Blacksburg, SC, passed away peacefully on September 5th, 2021, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC.

After the passing of his beloved wife, Lemuel Mae Allison, of 56 years, he later married Barbara Pennington Allison.

He was the son of the late Otis M. Allison and the late Eula Vastine Allison, born in Blacksburg, on April 6, 1938, he was 83 years old upon his death.

He worked at the Big Mill/Hamrick's of Gaffney before his retirement and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, NC.

In addition to his late wife and parents, Mr. Allison was preceded in death by twelve of his siblings, Otis Allison, Jr., C.A. Allison, Leroy Allison, Charles "Maddie" Allison, James Allison, Paul Allison, Wayne Allison, Ola Catherine Martin, Doris Bright, Betty Jean Childers, Eula Mae Rippy, and Kay Hardin.

He is survived by one sister, Brenda Parker, his daughters, Cheryl Mauney and husband Scott of Athens, GA, Karen Groves and husband Bret of Hoven, SD; his four grandchildren; and his twelve great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many friends, nephews, and nieces.

The family will receive friends at his church, Faith Baptist in Shelby, Wednesday, September 8th, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The service will follow at 2:00 PM, with his Pastor J. Barry Goodman officiating. He will be laid to rest by his wife, Lemuel, at the Clingman Memorial Gardens in Blacksburg.
