Mr. Benjiman Ray Towery, 34, of 716 Liveoak St., died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of Faye Wright Towery and the late Cecil Towery.

PRECEDED: In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Chris Towery.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife, Amy Callahan Towery; one son, Austin Hoyle and one daughter Cassidy Hoyle both of Greenville TN; one sister, Lura Brooks and husband Mack of Virginia.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby Chapel.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
