Bennie Lee Curtis
Mr. Curtis served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II, a Purple Heart Recipient. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dores and Letitia Black Curtis; 2 brothers, Joe and Willy Curtis; 2 sisters, Pauline Hyde and Ruth Greene; and a son-in-law, Sherrill Dover. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Dot Curtis of the home; 1 son, Bennie Curtis and wife Dorothy of Earl; 3 daughters; Pat Dover and husband Ron of Cowpens, SC, Jean Walker of Shelby, and Eilene Emory and husband Ricky of Kings Mountain; 1 sister, Vernie Horton and husband Ed of Polkville; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and his beloved friends, Bill and Shirley Williams.
