Berneatta "Bernie" Virginia McNall Parsons, 78, of 1516 Marlwood Drive,
Shelby, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Wayne County, Michigan, on November 26, 1938 to the late
Raymond McNall and Pearl Mae Robertshaw McNall. She was a member of First
Baptist Church, Shelby. Bernie will be most remembered for the
unconditional love she had for her family. She enjoyed meeting people,
traveling, camping, spending time in her flowers, ironing, cleaning,
watching her Carolina Panthers, but also spending her Big Guy's money in the
casinos.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son Mark Parsons
and four sisters, Marcella Giorlando, Dorothy Wottowa, Gloria Shearer, and
Shirley Geill.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Roy Ferrell Parsons, her
blended family of four sons, Mike Tighe and wife Rachel, Steve Tighe, Roy
Parsons and wife Linda, and Jamie Parsons; two daughters, Lenette Sanders
and husband Tony and Carolyn Gerardi and husband, Jeff; brother, John McNall
and wife Beverly; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and
numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Sunday, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel,
Fallston, with the Rev. Bob Dill and Rev. Glenn Davenport officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston,
NC.
