Bernice Grigg, 97, of 1101 N. Morgan Street, Shelby, died Sunday, July 15,
2012 at Peak Resources  in Shelby.

Born May 2, 1915 in Hartford County, CT, she was a daughter of the late
William Ransom and Lena Sperry Ransom.  Mrs. Grigg was a homemaker and a
member of Kadesh United Methodist Church.  She served in the United States
Coast Guard.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, T.B.
Grigg; two brothers, William Ransom and Donald Ransom; and a sister, Pearl
Pysner.

Survivors include a son, Fred Martin "Marty" Grigg and wife, Elaine of
Windsor Locks, CT; three daughters, Winona Grigg DeCarlo and husband, Ronald
of Glendale, AZ, Lorraine Grigg Potts of Lawndale and Virginia Therian
Steele of Maine; twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and
great-great grandchildren.

Graveside Service: 2:00 PM, Friday at Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.
