 Mrs. Betty Ann Brooks Humphries, 72, of  Forest City, NC,  passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Services were held at Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park.

Mrs. Humphries was preceded in death by parents, Buren Flay and Margaret Mauney Brooks; and 1 brother, Wayne Pinkney Brooks.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles Ray Humphries of Forest City; 2 sons, Ricky Humphries and wife Sandy of Forest City, and Robert John Humphries of Shelby; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.
