Betty Hartsoe Sessoms, age 84, a resident of Kings Mountain, passed away at  Willow Ridge, Rutherfordton, NC. Born in  Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Gus Hartsoe and Cora Gladden Hartsoe and was also preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Benjamin Sessoms, Jr, a son, Randy Keith Sessoms,  brother Gus Hartsoe, Jr., and sisters Sue Phillips and Martha Dobbins.   She was retired from Armtex, Gastonia, NC.  She attended Northside Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC and was a very humble and  loving person.   

SURVIVORS: Sons: Doug Sessoms, Kings Mountain, NC; Don Sessoms and Denise, Kings Mountain, NC, Scott Sessoms and Barbara, Earl, NC; Daughter: Bennie S. Beam, Kings Mountain, NC; Sisters:  Jean Smith, Blacksburg, SC and Linda Beaver, Kings Mountain, NC; nine Grandchildren;  and eight Great-Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Monday, August 25, 2014, 2:00 PM with Rev. Rick Asbury officiating. 

VISITATION:  12:30 -1:30 prior to the service

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
