Blacksburg - Betty Jane Wooley Moore, 85, of 240 Lancaster Drive, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Lincolnton, NC, she was the wife of Leon Wilbur Moore and the daughter of the late William and Hattie Mae Hartman Wooley. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. She enjoyed crocheting, working puzzle books, and baking cakes.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Franklin Wilbur Moore and Cindy Dianna Henderson (Randy); her sister, Anne White; her grandchildren, Jerome Nathan Walker, Shaunna Denise Jackson (Frankie), and Felicia Renea Moore;11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church, Shelby, NC. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the church with Pastor Barry Goodman and Rev. Johnny Owen officiating. Interment will be at Cook Memorial Gardens.
