Mrs. Betty Kirby Ruppe, 69, of 1106 Old Hwy. 221-A, Cliffside, NC, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010. Services were held at Calvary Baptist Church, Cliffside, NC. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Mrs. Ruppe was preceded in death by her parents, J.L. and Gladys Stevens Kirby.

She is survived by her husband, Ned Ruppe; 2 sons, Gary Ruppe and wife Lori of Spartanburg, and Jeff Ruppe of Donna of Cliffside; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
