Betty Sue Palmer Warlick
Betty Sue Palmer Warlick, 80, of Polkville, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at her home.
She was born on August 4, 1935 in Stanly County, to the late Grady Wilson Palmer and Sarah Elizabeth Parsons Palmer. She was retired from Central Piedmont Community College as an executive secretary and was a member of Polkville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Andy Fred Warlick; brother Archie Palmer and wife Ruth; seven brothers-in-law, Floyd Warlick, Brady Warlick and wife Mae, Hazel Warlick and wife Edith, Lawrence Warlick and wife Thesis, John Warlick and wife Janie, Bill Hord and Ken Griffin; and two sisters-in-law Faye Palmer and Mary Lou Maynor and husband Robert.
She is survived by one brother, Buddy Palmer of New London; brother-in-law, Buren Warlick and wife Joann of Shelby; sisters-in-law, Ethel Griffin of Old Fort, Vertie Redmond and husband Everett of Shelby, Genette Hord of Shelby and Mary Warlick of Lawndale; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturdauy from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Polkville United Methodist Church.
The funeral will be held onSaturday at 2:00 PM at Polkville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Lovelace and Rev. Ed Lee officiating.
The burial will follow in the service in the church cemetery.
