Bible Study: What The Bible Says About Jesus

By: Evangelist W.C. “Dub” Dellinger - Age 92

Romans 6: To us, Jesus set the pace. Verse 10, For in that He died, He died unto sin once; but in that He liveth, He liveth unto God.

After we have been reborn by a resurrected Saviour, then we live and show thanks by our works, which He will bless if we hold true to Him. Walking in Grace is a much better life to live than living in sin. ONLY THE ONES REDEEMED FROM SIN CAN KNOW THIS. You were living in sin. Now those who have been redeemed can walk and speak freely for your Saviour with the assurance from your Saviour that there lies a deeper road ahead.

Acts 2 refers to the same thing. The word Pentecost used sets, a time period of 50. The main thing there was that they were all in one accord. The church should all be in accord and the Pastor as leader. Sinners will be reborn. Not being in one accord will cause this not to happen.

You don’t fool the Saviour. The church should be a place for lively worship. If you never feel the Spirit of the Saviour, think about another place. The leaders should study and give the Lord a chance to DO HIS WORK. Stewards, Deacons, Board Members, the Lord puts a lot of trust on your shoulders.

Please do not use the meetings as a gossip bench, as I have noticed some (not all) in the past 60 years of work for the Lord. When you do that, the church attendance goes down and then it’s time to check yourself.
