Bill Surber, age 94, a resident of Kings Mountain, died June 3, 2015 at his home. He was born in Gaston Co., NC, son of the late William "Willie" and Myra Harbin Surber. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, 2 brothers, , 5 sisters,.. Mr. Surber served in the United States Coast Guard during WW II. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family..
