Billy Johnson Mills, age 69, of Harold Davis Road, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 2, 1953 in Union County to the late Merle Johnson and Mary Lee Martin Mills.

Billy was a veteran of the United States Army. During his time with the Army, he served as a paratrooper. Billy loved to fish, and was a great cook. He made the best cole slaw. He loved his mother and was a devoted son. He had given his heart to the Lord, and now is with his Savior. Billy was a "good egg" and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jenny Caudle.

Survivors include his daughter, Brenna Russell (Byron), sister, Tina Kiker; 2 nephews, and 1 niece.
