Billy Lee Melton

Billy Lee Melton, 70, of Ferry Road, Forest City, died on Monday, June 10, 2013 at SECU Hospice House of Rutherford County. A native of Cleveland County, he was born on July 04, 1942, a son of the late Claude Lee and Macie Humphries Melton. He retired from J.C. Cowan and was a member of Chase Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Melton and Frank Melton. He is survived by his sisters, Carrie Melton, Shirley Hutchins, and Cathy Morrow, all of Forest City.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Thursday, June 14, 2013 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Butler officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Thursday at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service.
