Mr. Blaine Froneberger, 80, of Shelby, NC passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011.  Services were held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Burial was held in Cleveland Memorial Park.

Mr. Froneberger served our country in the U.S. Navy, serving in Japan and in the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Froneberger was preceded in death by his parents, Jonas Michael Froneberger and Alma Faye Sellers Froneberger; brothers,  J. M. Froneberger, Jr. and Harold Froneberger and sister, Marjorie Shaw. 

He is survived by his wife, Mabel L. Froneberger of the home; daughters, Rhonda Hamrick and husband, Dale of Boiling  Springs; Kelli Shelor and  husband, Myron of Cherryville; two grandchildren; brother, Wayne Froneberger & wife, Beatrice of Cherryville; sister, Sarah Black and husband, Rans  of Aiken, SC; his sister-In-Law, Helen Froneberger           of Cherryville; many beloved nieces and nephews and special friends, Dana Blalock Drennan, Cara Ellis and Logan Costner.

Memorials may be made to Cleveland County Boys & Girls Club, 821 W. Warren Street, Shelby, NC 28150; and Aldersgate United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1207 W. Dixon Blvd., Shelby, NC 28152.
