SHELBY- Bobby Brean Fox, 78, of 941 Woodland Drive, passed away Monday June 22, 2015 at Wendover Hospice. A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late William Amos and Gladys King Fox. He attended Faith Baptist Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grand father. He also was a veteran of the United States Army.

PRECEDED: in addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

SURVIVED: he is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia McGee Fox of the home; two sons, Christopher Shawn Fox and wife Amanda of Shelby, Robert Kevin Fox and wife Noreen of Smithfield, NC; two daughters, Tammy Fox Hamrick and husband Heath of Garner, NC and Wendy Gem of Shelby; one sister, Mary Jo Digh and husband Jerry of Gastonia; seven grandchildren, Meagan, Madison, Savannah, Ashton, Mason, Celine, and Carissa; one great grand child, Jacelynn; a special nephew, Randy Baugh; and his caregiver, Brenda Roseboro.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Thursday at Faith Baptist Church.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour and thirty minutes prior to the service at the church.
