Mr. Brandon Kenneth Messick, 26, of Shelby, NC, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010. Services were held at Dover Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Allen Family Cemetery. 

Mr. Messick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bud and Sue Yates, Frank Allen, Kaye Davis, Norman Messick, and Shirley Messick Hamrick.

He is survived by his parents, Rick Messick and Debbie Messick of the home; 1 sister, Wendi Messick of Killeen, Texas; 1 special nephew, Preston Messick of the home, and Eric Adams, Jr. of Killeen, Texas; and 1 uncle, Keith Messick of Kings Mountain, NC.

Cleveland Funeral Services, Shelby, NC is serving the family.
