Brenda Collins Pearson, 71, went to be with her Lord Monday, January 3, 2022 at her home.

A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Odus and Mary Hamrick Collins. Brenda was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a former employee of Dover Textiles. She later worked as a private duty nurse and operated a small cleaning business. She loved the beach, tending to her flowers, cooking and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby, James Edward and Wayne Collins; and sisters, Mildred Peterson and Reba Sisk. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Dan Pearson, of the home; sons, Jimmy Melton and wife Tammy and Danny Pearson, both of Grover; daughters, Loretta Cash and husband Danny of Spartanburg, Tammy Grayson and husband David of Grover and Sherri Blakemore and husband Chris of Crouse; sisters, Linda Thompson, Betty Scott and husband Richard and Patsy Stroup, all of Shelby; brothers, Buddy Collins and wife Joyce of Kings Mountain, Billy Ray Collins and wife Donna of Ellenboro and Tommy Collins and wife Connie of Kings Mountain; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Cookie. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM, Friday, January 7, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Tim Sims officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00PM, prior to the service, in the sanctuary. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
